FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ - The Beeline Highway is open again after a crash closed it down late Monday night.
Salt River police say a man was speeding down State Route 87 in a white pickup truck, lost control and rolled the vehicle. He was ejected from vehicle during the crash, according to spokesman Greg Anderson.
The accident happened near Shea Boulevard.
Police say they believe the truck was stolen.
The man was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
The highway was shut down for hours while police investigated the scene.
Police spokesman Greg Anderson said investigators were looking into whether the crash was tied to another incident in the Valley overnight. No other details were available.
