CAVE CREEK, AZ - A 3-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Tuesday after falling into a backyard pool.
Fire officials said the child fell into the pool in a gated community near Cave Creek Road and the Carefree Highway.
It is unclear how the child ended up in the water. Firefighters said it appears the boy was under water for at least two minutes
Officials said the boy was breathing and crying on his way to the hospital.
