CAVE CREEK, AZ - Two people were taken to a Valley burn center after they were injured in an explosion at a Cave Creek restaurant.

Rural Metro Fire Department spokesman Ken Diamond said a male victim suffered minor burns and a female victim had more extensive burns to her hands.

Diamond said the "pressure explosion" happened at the Cave Creek Tap Haus which opens in mid-November.

Both patients were taken to Maricopa County Medical Center.

Diamond said their injuries were not life-threatening.
