A Yuma man was killed in a hit-and-run that occurred around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Yuma police said they responded to a "man down" in the area of 24th Street and Avenue C in Yuma.
The victim, a 19-year-old, was found in the road and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe that he was struck between 4 a.m. and 4:21 a.m., but the driver and vehicle in question is still unknown.
The street where the accident occurred remains closed and the incident is still under investigation.
