WICKENBURG, AZ - U.S. 93 has been reopened following a deadly head-on crash involving a semi truck Friday morning.

Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said three vehicles were involved in the wreck north of Wickenburg.

Graves said the crash occurred just before 11 a.m. on U.S. 93, the main road to Las Vegas.

DPS officials say the driver of a passenger vehicle apparently crossed into the path of the big rig.

They say the vehicle's driver was killed. The victim's name hasn't been released yet.

Authorities say the two injured people were flown from the scene by medical helicopter. Their conditions aren't immediately known.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were initially shut down, but were reopened later in the day.
