GREEN VALLEY, AZ - A Tucson woman accused of trying to drown her 7-year-old son in a bathtub has pleaded guilty to a child abuse charge.
The Green Valley News reports that 31-year-old Corina Vanessa Rodriguez faces one to more than three years in prison when she is sentenced on Jan. 24.
She pleaded guilty on Dec. 19 to one count of child abuse.
Rodriguez was taken into custody by Sahuarita police during March after she was suspected of trying to drown.
