TUCSON, AZ - A former high school wrestling coach in Tucson believed to be on the run with a teenage girl is in custody.
Mexican authorities say they arrested 38-year-old Todd Russell Hezlitt in Mazatlan. The U.S. Marshals Service flew him Friday to Houston and Hezlitt now is awaiting extradition to Pima County.
Hezlitt was arrested in April on suspicion of two counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department issued a warrant for Hezlitt's arrest last month after he was seen at a graduation with the 15-year-old girl he was accused of being involved with. They say that violated conditions of his release.
Authorities say the girl was reported as a runaway on May 31. Her family says she has posted through social media that she's safe.
