TUCSON, AZ - Authorities say seven more people have been arrested in last month's assault of three people outside a Tucson bar.
Pima County Sheriff's officials say six men and one woman were booked into jail Wednesday on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault.
Another man was arrested in the case last Friday. Authorities said at that time that more arrests were anticipated.
A fight occurred Feb. 17 outside the Outlaw Saloon after a 45-year-old woman, her 21-year-old son and a 40-year-old friend left the bar about 2:40 am.
The three stopped to smoke on their way to the parking lot. Authorities say a group came out of the bar, approached the trio and made antagonistic remarks directed at the woman's son.
Witnesses say the taunting continued and escalated into a fight.
