TUCSON, AZ - Pima County officials are assessing fire damage to a county library.
Northwest Fire says a passer-by spotted smoke around the Flowing Wells Branch Library Wednesday evening.
A total of 28 firefighters responded, getting the fire under control in about a half-hour.
Northwest Fire says the branch sustained smoke damage but that fire damage was limited to storage areas and a bathroom.
Damages are estimated at about $5,000.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
