TUCSON, AZ - Authorities say a drug dealer held two sisters in a South Tucson motel room for a week, repeatedly raping and beating them.
The Arizona Daily Star reported Tuesday that 35-year-old Rene Francisco "Spanky" Canez was arrested Oct. 15 on multiple counts, including kidnapping, sexual assault and administering narcotics.
According to court documents, the sisters, ages 22 and 26, went to the El Camino Motel on Oct. 9 to buy marijuana from Canez.
Prosecutors say Canez used various weapons including a Taser and a curtain rod to assault them.
He is accused of injecting the victims with heroin and forcing them to perform sex acts on each other.
The sisters managed to escape when a third woman showed up Oct. 15.
The victims were treated at a hospital for multiple injuries.
