MARANA, AZ - Marana police say an 8-year-old boy has died from injuries suffered when his family's car and a tractor trailer collided.
The crash happened Saturday as the family was headed to a Marana pumpkin patch. The boy's father, a 14-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were also injured in the crash.
Police say the 8-year-old boy was taken to a Tucson hospital with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead Sunday. His name has not been released.
Police say everyone in the car was wearing seat belts.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
