TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Border Patrol made multiple arrests over the past two weeks across the Arizona border, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
The Border Patrol conducted a stop near Stanfield, Ariz. and found five long-arm weapons, ammunition, marijuana and a stolen Border Patrol uniform, according to a news release.
At the Interstate 19 checkpoint, two U.S. citizens were reportedly arrested after agents found two Mexican nationals in the trunk.
Over at the Highway 80 checkpoint, 500 pounds of marijuana was seized from multiple compartments of a vehicle.
The release said the next day, 60 pounds of marijuana bricks was seized from a compartment hidden by a false roof.
The drivers and occupants of the vehicles were arrested in connection with their related crimes.
