TUCSON, AZ - Authorities have recovered the body of a 19-year-old man who disappeared while swimming in Tucson's Rose Canyon Lake.
Pima County Sheriff's search and rescue crews discovered the body around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The man's name hasn't been released yet.
The Arizona Daily Star says it appears the victim drowned, but authorities are waiting for autopsy results for an actual cause of death.
The man was at the lake with friend Tuesday.
Sheriff's deputies say they received a 911 report that man slipped underwater while swimming across the lake around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Divers couldn't go into the seven-acre lake because of the murky water and decreasing daylight.
