Federal wildlife officers have fatally shot seven aggressive javelinas that have chased and attacked people in a Tucson neighborhood.
Arizona Game and Fish Department officials say three sub-adult javelinas were left unharmed because they weren't involved in the attacks
According to the Arizona Daily Star, Game and Fish spokesman Mark Hart says the department considered the euthanizing of the javelinas on Tuesday night necessary because relocation isn't a good option.
Hart says the javelinas are used to eating garbage and may not be able to find food in the wild.
The attacks include one involving a woman who was injured while walking her dog in the eastside Tucson neighborhood last week.
