SIERRA VISTA, AZ - A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of first degree murder in the killing of a Sierra Vista man.
Police arrested the teen Sunday morning. He was booked on first degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault and sexual assault.
The Herald newspaper reports police were initially called after receiving a check welfare request at a residence.
A detective says the teen was arrested at the scene. The sexual assault charges stem from an incident involving a second, female victim.
The boy was booked into the Cochise County Jail and is being held on a bond of $1 million. Authorities say he is being charged as an adult.
