SIERRA VISTA, AZ - Authorities say a man was arrested after a confrontation at a southern Arizona movie theater Friday.

Cochise County Sheriff's officials say 27-year-old Michael William Borboa is being held on suspicion of disorderly conduct and threatening and intimidating.

The Arizona Daily Star says Borboa entered the Cinemark Theater at The Mall at Sierra Vista carrying a large backpack Friday night during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises".

Witnesses say he appeared to be drunk and was acting strangely during a showing of the new Batman movie.

A moviegoer confronted the man, which led to about 50 people fleeing in the wake of the mass shooting at a Colorado movie theater.

Off-duty Border Patrol agents tackled Borboa and he was removed from the theater. Authorities say an empty alcohol container and a half-empty moonshine bottle was in his backpack.
