WILLCOX, AZ - Students and staff at Willcox High School in southeastern Arizona have returned to class after a man opened fire wounding one student on campus .
KVOA-TV reports Monday began with an assembly for the students where school administrators thanked them for following directions last Thursday when 40-year-old Arthur Tineo allegedly began shooting at as various athletic events were going on.
At the assembly students heard Willcox Police Chief Jake Weaver describe the exact sequence of events of the shooting.
A team of grief counselors arrived at the school to meet with students or faculty members.
School administrators say they will be sitting down with Willcox police to discuss the shooting and figure out which responses work best.
Tineo was booked into Cochise County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder. A judge set a $2 million bail for Tineo last Friday.
