ELOY, AZ - Eloy residents are cleaning up Friday after a severe storm ripped through the Arizona town Thursday night.
Air15 video showed buildings with torn off roofs, a destroyed billboard, and even overturned semi trucks.
Meteorologist Amber Sullins visited Eloy early Friday to survey the damage. According to Amber, a microburst with winds estimated at 60 to 80 miles per hour struck the small town, tearing buildings apart.
As of Friday at 3:30 p.m., 80 people in Eloy were still without power, down from 1,600 people Thursday night.
Spokesman Dan Wool said there were 25 to 30 downed power poles being repaired around the town. Power is expected to be restored around 8 p.m.
