PICACHO, AZ - Blowing dust south of the Valley Tuesday led to three massive accidents on Interstate 10 involving two dozen vehicles.
Air15 and ABC15 crews at the scene near Picacho captured shocking images of the chaos that unraveled Tuesday afternoon south of the Valley.
Aerial images from Air15 showed thick clouds of blowing dust hovering over the accident scenes as crews worked feverishly to help injured motorists and direct drivers around the scene.
Commercial and passenger vehicles could be seen spread across the roadway while dust blew through the area.
ABC15's Steve Kuzj also captured photos at the scene showing semi trucks on top of cars as emergency vehicles lined the roadway.
One person was killed and nearly a dozen others injured.
