FLORENCE, AZ - Pinal County authorities say they've seized nearly 550 pounds of marijuana found hidden in thick brush south of Interstate 8.
The sheriff's air unit saw fresh ATV tracks on Tuesday while looking for a truck that was suspected of smuggling drugs possibly from Mexico.
The helicopter followed the tracks a short way and found three ATVs hidden in thick brush under a camouflage tarp.
Authorities say 14 bundles of marijuana were discovered in the ATVs with the pot weighing 549 pounds.
