SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ - A teen who was reported missing from San Tan Valley last week has been found, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.
Ashley Davis, 17, was reported missing after walking home from a park in the area of Desert Honeysuckle Drive and Denim Trail to her home on Desert Honeysuckle Drive.
Elias Johnson with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said Davis contacted a family in San Tan Monday night.
Shortly after, she reportedly arrived at the family’s home looking for a place to stay.
Johnson said the daughter of that family is an acquaintance of Davis and knew the girl was reported missing.
The family then called PCSO to report they found the girl.
According to Johnson, Davis is in good health.
The teen is now being interviewed by deputies.
Davis was scheduled to report to military processing for delayed enlistment two weeks ago.
