PHOENIX - The McGuireville rest area on Interstate 17 just north of the Verde Valley has reopened.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the rest area was closed for renovations that included upgraded restrooms and sewer lines and a new well and water pumps.
The rest area was to have reopened in September but the reopening was postponed due to delays in equipment.
