BULLHEAD CITY, AZ - An Arizona taxi cab driver is recovering after a customer slit his throat.
Bullhead City police say they arrested 18-year-old Cody Stedman Watts on Monday. Watts was booked into the Mohave County jail on attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges.
Police say the cab driver picked up a man from the Riverside Boat Docks on Nov. 21. The man told the cab driver his name was "Lucifer" and slit his throat.
The driver fought back and took the knife from the man, who then pulled out another knife. The man eventually fled on foot.
Police found a backpack and bloody clothing nearby. Watts' driver's license was in the pack.
Watts was found later at a friend's apartment. He had suffered some cuts from the knife fight.
The driver has since been released from the hospital.
