Interstate 8 closed near Gila Bend after tractor-trailer fire

GILA BEND, AZ - One eastbound Interstate 8 lane has been reopened after a tractor-trailer fire near Gila Bend Saturday morning.
An Arizona Department of Transportation spokesperson said eastbound lanes of the freeway were shut down around 8 a.m. about 20 miles east of Gila Bend.
According to ADOT, as of 11 a.m. the left travel lane has been reopened.
It is unclear at this time when the roadway is expected to be fully reopened.
