PHOENIX - Westbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed near Picacho Peak in southern Arizona overnight after a person was killed after falling out of a pickup truck due to a collision.
The Department of Public Safety, the passenger who fell from the truck as a result of the Wednesday evening accident was then struck by an unknown number of other vehicles.
The DPS says the closure began at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and ended shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday.
The victim's identity was not immediately released.
