MARICOPA, AZ - A man has been arrested in Maricopa after he allegedly exposed himself to female victims.

Daniel Tapia Mollinedo, 24, was taken into custody on Friday afternoon following a saturation patrol in the Maricopa Meadows and Alterra South communities as police searched for a suspect in multiple incidents of indecent exposure.

Officers gathered information from reports of suspicious activity and with a composite sketch and vehicle description provided from one of the victims, police put together a plan to catch the suspect, according to a Maricopa Police Department news release.

At 2 p.m. Friday, officers saw a vehicle similar to the one reported by witnesses being driven by a man matching the description of the suspect.

Police stopped the vehicle on John Wayne Parkway and Juan Street where the driver, Mollinedo, was wearing the same style shirt and pants described by the victims.

Mollinedo was taken to the police department where he reportedly admitted to stopping females and exposing himself.

Police say he was also positively identified by the victims in other related cases.

Mollinedo was booked into the Pinal County Detention Center on one felony count of indecent exposure and two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure.
