MARICOPA, AZ - A Valley family is holding a school supply and "snowflake" drive for students of Sandy Hook Elementary School.
The Holsinger's of Maricopa have a relative, Jessica, who was at the school during last week's shooting .
They said Jessica hid in the gymnasium and was not hurt.
"When I first heard about it I was scared," said Christina Holsinger who is Jessica's cousin. "I was really excited to hear she was not hurt. Shaken up, but not hurt."
Christina said she talks to Jessica by Skype, but has never met her in person.
The family is collecting school supplies and homemade snowflakes for students of Sandy Hook, calling it a "Snowflake" drive.
