FLORENCE, AZ - Deputies took three adults and one juvenile into custody Sunday after a failed attempt to dodge arrest warrants during a traffic stop, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Friday.

According to PCSO, around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, a deputy ran a registration on a vehicle near Chui Chu Road by Casa Grande.

The white Chevrolet Suburban contained four occupants and the deputy reportedly discovered that it did not have insurance coverage.

The deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle pulled into the driveway of a residence along the road, according to PCSO.

The vehicle pulled out of the driveway a few minutes later with only the driver inside, according to the report.

The deputy had stopped down the road from the vehicle after suspecting that the driver was attempting to avoid a traffic stop, but he was then reportedly able to contact the vehicle to conduct the traffic stop.

PCSO said the driver, who was identified as Faye Ventura of Sellis, Arizona, admitted that she did not know anyone at the residence where she previously stopped.

According to PCSO, she also told them that the people who were in the car were her teenage son, adult daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend, who fled to avoid arrest warrants.

Deputies reportedly contacted the homeowners who allowed them to search their property for the suspects.

The suspects, Marla Molina, Adrian Valdez and Ventura’s son, were found in hiding after 30 minutes, according to the report.

Molina had an active warrant out for a DUI Hit and Run in Maricopa County.

PCSO said Valdez also had a warrant for his arrest from the Arizona Department of Corrections for violating parole and for assault through the Casa Grande Justice Court.

According to PCSO, the juvenile also had an outstanding warrant.

Among Valdez and Molina's charges were criminal trespassing, burglary and hindering prosecution.
