FLORENCE, AZ - Authorities say an inmate has died in an Arizona state prison facility.
Arizona Department of Corrections officials say Anthony Olea, 46, was serving two consecutive 17-year sentences for molestation of a child. He entered the system September 15, 2011.
Officials say Olea died Wednesday from an apparent suicide. He was pronounced dead after ADC staff attempted life saving measures.
Olea was being held at the Special Management Unit of ASPC-Eyman in Florence.
The death is under investigation by the department.
