FLORENCE, AZ - An Arizona prison inmate who has been on death row since 1985 is scheduled for a Wednesday hearing before the state's clemency board.

Edward Harold Schad was convicted of killing 74-year-old Lorimer "Leroy" Grove of Bisbee in August 1978 after robbing him.

Grove went missing on a drive to Washington state.

His strangled body was found south of Prescott in August 1978.

Schad was arrested a month later after driving the victim's car.

A March 6 execution has been set for the 70-year-old Schad.
