FLORENCE, AZ - An Arizona Department of Corrections officer has been arrested after authorities say child pornography was found on his personal computer.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Jeffrey Williams of Casa Grande was booked Friday into the county jail on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Authorities say the pornography was discovered April 12 by a computer technician at a shop where Williams had taken his personal computer to be repaired.
The technician called authorities who seized the computer and obtained a search warrant for its hard drive.
Williams was arrested while at work at the state prison complex in Florence.
Sheriff's officials say Williams admitted to downloading and uploading child pornography on his home computers.
Authorities couldn't immediately confirm Friday whether Williams had an attorney.
