CASA GRANDE, AZ - An early morning fire in Casa Grande left a vacant house destroyed and caused damage to another nearby home.
According to a Casa Grande Fire Department spokeswoman, fire crews arrived around 12:20 a.m. to put out the blaze in a vacant home, but the flames had already spread to another home nearby.
The family that lives in the nearby home was able to get out without injury.
The vacant home was completely destroyed and the second home was severely damaged.
Officials said there was another fire in the same vacant home in August 2012.
Authorities are still investigating the fire.
