ARIZONA CITY, AZ - Two boys have been honored by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office for helping a woman who was found lying unconscious in front of an Arizona City home.

Sheriff's officials say that on April 27, 11-year-old Salvador Morreno found the woman unconscious in front of a home in a neighborhood near Battaglia Drive and Lamb Road.

As Morreno checked on the woman, he flagged down 15-year-old Antonio Ramirez who called 911.

Morreno supported the victim's body and comforted her as she struggled to breathe, while Ramirez relayed information to the PCSO dispatcher.

They told the dispatcher where they were and deputies responded within minutes.

The boys remained at the scene to give information to first responders and the woman was taken to a local hospital where she was treated. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Both boys were recognized by sheriff's officials with Life Saving certificates at the Casa Grande sheriff's substation.

"Salvador and Antonio displayed courage, leadership, and compassion during a very difficult situation," Sheriff Paul Babeu said. "Their actions exemplify the very definition of citizenship. Both are fine examples of the great things our local youth are capable of."
