CASA GRANDE, AZ - Authorities say they found 15 pounds of marijuana in a hidden compartment on an SUV that was pulled over on Interstate 10 near Casa Grande.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says Alejandro Ortiz, the 22-year-old driver of the vehicle, was booked on suspicion of marijuana possession and transportation of marijuana after Friday's traffic stop.
Officials say he was pulled over for having an excessively dark window tint and having no insurance and later raised suspicions by acting nervously.
A police dog eventually found the hidden compartment.
Authorities say Ortiz's wife and 12-day-old child were in the vehicle, but weren't charged with a crime.
