PHOENIX - Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies seized 1,700 pounds of marijuana late Friday following a traffic stop on Interstate 17 north of Phoenix.
Sheriff's officials say deputies stopped a vehicle pulling a large trailer that was being driven erratically near Black Canyon City.
A sheriff's canine alerted to possible narcotics and a search found the marijuana in a limousine.
One man was arrested, but his name wasn't released on Saturday and no charges have been filed. He reportedly told deputies he had just been hired to take the trailer to another state.
