SUNSET POINT, AZ - Authorities say a brush fire burned about 100 acres along Interstate 17 near Sunset Point overnight.

A spokesman for the Black Canyon City Fire Department said the fire started around 1:30 a.m. Thursday and is not threatening any structures.

The perimeter of the fire has been knocked down and Black Canyon City firefighters have turned the scene over to the Bureau of Land Management, officials say.

It is unknown at this time what sparked the fire.
