A Denver woman says she wasn't allowed to board a flight from Wyoming to Denver because of her gender.
Jennifer Winning says she checked in and arrived at security 35 minutes before her flight.
She was told they couldn't screen her because all of the female TSA agents had left.
Men aren't allowed to pat down women.
Winning says she offered to sign a waiverand, was told no.
So, she missed her flight and ended up spending $165 on a rental car and driving 350 miles back to Denver.
The TSA says once its informed by the airline that screening services are no longer neededthe security checkpoint is closed.
In this case, Skywest made a final bording announcement and notofied TSA no additional passengers would be accepted.
What's your take on this?
Is Winning just out of luck for not arriving earlier?
Or, should the TSA do a better of job of making sure a female agent is around at all times?
