Too soon? Whitney Houston items heading to auction

Just one day after being laid to rest items belonging to superstar Whitney Houston are already headed to the auction block.

A black velvet dress and a pair of earrings Houston wore in “The Bodyguard" will be sold to the highest bidder next month.

Houston's items are going to be included in a long-planned sale of Hollywood memorabilia.

Houston's journey "home" ended with a private burial in New Jersey on Sunday.

She was laid to rest next to her father at Fairview cemetery, just south of Newark. Read more .
