One kid's imagination landed him in trouble with his school.

Nicholas Taylor goes to school in Smyrna, Tennessee.

He was ordered to eat his lunch at a table by himself for the rest of the semester after an incident in the lunchroom.

School officials say Nicholas fashioned his pizza into the shape of a gun and then pointed it at his fellow students.

His mom is upset by the punishment, saying Nick never threatened anybody and was just playing around.

Do you think the school went too far?

Or is their reaction necessary in this day and age?
