Is New York's "Big Soda Ban" just the beginning of the battle against unhealthy foods?

A group of doctors specializing in diabetes says it should be.

According to an article on yahoo.com , they say the public needs protection from the food industry with its ever-growing portion sizes.

Two-thirds of American adults are now either overweight or obese.

And while that seems like a personal problem, doctors point out that the public ends up footing the bill when weight-related issues affect people who can't pay for the treatment.

So, what do you think?

Is it time to start setting limits on the amount of unhealthy food people can buy?
