The Peoria Unified School District is considering a dress code for teachers.

The new policy would cover everything from appropriate footwear to how much skin a blouse or skirt should expose.

As it stands now, teachers and other staff are required to dress professional, but the term isn't defined.

District leaders say the proposal is aimed at setting clear expectations of its employees while avoiding awkward confrontations for principals who are enforcing dress codes.

What is your take on this?

Do you think teachers and school staff need a dress code?

Have you noticed a problem at your child's school in terms of adults dressing inappropriately?
