An aftershave designed to throw suspicious wives and girlfriends off the trail after a night at the strip club has become popular overseas.

The product is made in South Africa has spread to countries in Europe and the Far East, according to metro.co.uk .        

The company said 'Alibi' can mask the aromas of a night in the club.      

'My Car Broke Down' apparently smells like fuel and grease and 'I Was Working Late' smells like coffee and wool suits.
