DENVER - Players from the Denver Broncos visited victims of the Aurora, Colorado, theater shooting rampage Sunday.

The team tweeted out photos showing seven players – Jacob Tamme, Eric Decker, Chris Kuper, Ben Garland, Ryan Clady, Joe Mays and Brian Dawkins – in multiple hospital rooms with patients.

One post on the Broncos’ feed directly referenced Casey Rottman, one of the victims, and showed him wearing a team hat.

The Broncos also said Peyton Manning called some of the shooting victims and families of victims earlier in the weekend.

Twelve people were killed in the mass shooting Friday morning at the Century 16 theater. At least 58 were injured.  The suspect, 24-year-old James Holmes, was arrested outside the theater near his car.
