Video shows scene outside Aurora, Colorado movie theater after shooting

AURORA, CO - Video captured the scene outside the Colorado theater where at least 12 people were reportedly killed at a midnight showing of the new Batman movie Friday.

The suspected gunman, identified as 24-year-old James Holmes, set off an explosive device and opened fire into the audience at the opening of “The Dark Knight Rises” at the Aurora movie theater, according to Scripps Denver station 7News.

Fifty-nine others were reportedly injured. Holmes was taken into custody.

Video posted on YouTube.com shows people running out of the theater. A man who appears to be injured can also be seen walking out of the building.
