Urban Outfitters is offending some Irish-Americans who say some of the retailer's new merchandise is taking things too far.
The company has released a line of St. Patrick's Day themed t-shirts with a range of slogans that many say are offensive stereotypes.
According to ABC News , one of the women's tops reads, "Irish I Were Drunk" while another reads, "Kiss Me I'm Drunk, Or Irish, Or Whatever."
Now, members of Congress are getting involved.
The group of 10 legislators has written a letter to Urban Outfitters, urging the retailer to stop selling the St. Patrick's Day themed items.
Urban Outfitters has not yet responded to the letter.
