MIAMI - Police chased a U-Haul truck Friday morning through the streets of Miami before catching the driver.

News chopper video showed police stopping the U-Haul truck around 10:45 a.m. Arizona time before smashing the window to get the driver.

A swarm of police officers approached the driver's side of the U-Haul truck and wrestled the driver to the ground.

According to Local10.com, the ABC affiliate in Miami, it all started with a larceny suspect trying to run over a police officer near the Palmetto Expressway.

The chase then later went to Coral Cables and Miami, Local10.com reported.

Chopper video showed the truck temporarily getting stuck in traffic around 10:30 a.m. Arizona time before managing to drive on the sidewalk.

Police units were seen driving behind the U-Haul truck.
