Imprisoned Dutch man Joran van der Sloot said he is expecting a child, according to a Monday report.
Suspected in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba, van der Sloot was later convicted of killing a 21-year-old in Peru in 2010.
Locked up on a 28-year sentence, the 28-year-old told a Dutch newspaper that he's going to be a father.
In the interview with Dutch newspaper "De Telegraaf," he only identified the mother as "Leidi."
His attorney says the prison has "Leidi" registered as van der Sloot's girlfriend and the two have conjugal visits, though he would not confirm the pregnancy.
According to the attorney, van der Sloot is allowed visitors once or twice a month and he says he met "Leidi" through another inmate.
