PHOENIX - “Facebook” is going on a newborn girl’s birth certificate.

According to a CNN report , a man in Egypt has named his newborn daughter after the popular social networking website because of the vital part it played in the country’s recent historical revolution.

The man, Gamal Ibrahim, who is in his 20s reportedly gave his daughter the name to “express his joy.”

Many Egyptians used Facebook.com and other social media websites to arrange protests that began on Jan. 25, which led to the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak.
