A newborn was discovered on the side of a road in Afghanistan, according to a Sunday report.
Good Morning America said Polish soldiers found the baby girl in a towel Wednesday near the Waghez military base.
No one was located within a mile radius of where the infant was found and it is unclear who left the girl, according to the article
The soldiers reportedly took her to a medical center and bought her a bottle, bib, and formula.
