Pentagon says Arizona sailor dies in Africa

DJIBOUTI, AFRICA - The Department of Defense says a sailor from the town of Maricopa has died during a noncombat related training incident in the African nation of Djibouti.

The Pentagon said Thursday that 21-year-old Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyler L. Estrada died Tuesday.

Estrada was a Navy hospital corpsman and was assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit based at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
